Ghana will indeed be part of the celebration in Morocco. The Black Queens have secured their qualification for the TotalEnergies CAF Women’s Africa Cup of Nations Morocco 2026 after outclassing Egypt with an aggregate score of 7–0, confirming their return to the forefront of African women’s football.

In the first leg played in Cairo, the Ghanaians had already taken a strong lead with a convincing 3–0 victory.

Led by an inspired Doris Boaduwaa, Kim Björkegren’s players dominated from start to finish. Boaduwaa opened the scoring in the 42nd minute, before Milot Abena Amponsah (85’) and Grace Asantewaa (90’) added two more late in the game.

In Accra and backed by a passionate home crowd, they left no chance for the Egyptians, who were overwhelmed by Ghana’s pace and control.

The unstoppable Doris Boaduwaa struck twice in quick succession (52nd and 55th minutes), before Comfort Yeboahadded a third in the 57th minute. Once again, Boaduwaa sealed the win in stoppage time (90+2’), confirming Ghana’s total domination.
