The stage is set for the CAF Women’s Champions League Final as former champions AS FAR face debutants ASEC Mimosas in Friday’s much-anticipated final.

Following yet another exciting edition to Africa’s most prestigious club football tournament, the AS FAR and Asec Mimosas are the two remaining contenders for the CAF Women’s Champions League 2025 crown set to be contested at the Suaz Canal Stadium in Ismaila, Egypt.

In addition to the coveted title, the 2025 victors will qualify for the play-off round to the FIFA Women’s Champions Cup , making Friday’s contest an even tighter affair.

The two finalists’ journey to the final has been nothing short of exceptional amidst a tough group stage and semi-final phase.

AS FAR, who maintained their favourites tag finished top of Group A with two wins and a draw before edging TP Mazembe 4-2 on penalties during the semi-finals in what was a repeat of last season’s final.

Their counterparts have been equally exceptional in the group stage, finishing on the same number of points with two wins and a draw, before edging FC Masar with a hard-fought 1-0 victory on Tuesday.

Friday’s final promises a compelling duel of contrasting strengths, with very little separating the two sides.

AS FAR’s experience, structure and big-match temperament against ASEC’s momentum, unity and rising belief.
