ASEC Mimosas reach CAF Women’s Champions League final with hard fought victory over FC Masar
ASEC Mimosas continued their historic debut campaign in the CAF Women’s Champions League by edging FC Masar 1–0 in a tightly contested semi-final on Tuesday at the Suaz Canal Stadium in Ismaila Egypt – a result that subsequently secures their place in the tournament’s grand finale.
After a balanced and cagey first half, the breakthrough finally arrived in the second period.
The decisive moment came in the 73rd minute when 22-year-old forward Essi Dagba produced a gave ASEC the all-important lead that sent them through.

FC Masar pushed forward in search of an equaliser, but ASEC’s defensive organisation and composure under pressure ensured the Ivorians preserved their advantage to the final whistle.
