CAF Women’s Champions League: FC Masar cruise past 15 de Agosto

FC Masar delivered a statement performance on Matchday 3 of the 2CAF Women’s Champions League 2025, producing a dominant 5-0 victory over 15 de Agosto to underline their credentials as serious title contenders.

From the opening whistle, the Egyptian side imposed their superiority. With confident possession play, high pressing, and fluid transitions, Masar controlled the tempo and kept their opponents pinned back.

Their persistence paid off in the 41st minute when Yassmin Zezo opened the scoring, setting the tone for a one-sided encounter.

The second half saw Masar in full control. Nigerian forward Alice Ogebe doubled the advantage in the 56th minute before Hasnath Ubamba made it 3-0 on the 72nd minute.

Zezo added her second of the night in the 86th minute, and Hala Moustafa capped off the rout deep into stoppage time (90+6’).

The emphatic win sends FC Masar to the top of Group A, putting them in a strong position ahead of their final group match against USFAS on Saturday.
