CAF Women’s Champions League – WAFU-A Zone: Full Schedule for the Qualifying Tournament
Senegal will host the CAF Women’s Champions League qualifying tournament for the WAFU-A zone from 5 to 17 August 2025.
Five West African clubs will battle for the single ticket available for the final phase of the continental competition.
Only One Spot for WAFU A
At the end of the five matchdays, only the top-ranked team will earn a place in the next edition of the CAF Women’s Champions League. They will join:
● TP Mazembe (DR Congo), title holders
● The host nation (to be designated)
● Representatives from the other regional zones: UNAF, WAFU-B, UNIFFAC, CECAFA, and COSAFA

A High-Stakes Regional Competition
The tournament will be played in a league format across five matchdays, with only one team advancing based on the final standings.
The WAFU-A zone will thus have the opportunity to name its best representative for the continental stage.
