The CECAFA tournament matches for the 2024 CAF Women's Champions League qualifiers are in full swing.

On Monday, the Simba Queens secured a commanding 5-0 victory against the Djibouti Armed Forces.

Asha Rashid was the standout player, netting a hat-trick, with additional goals from Elisabeth Wambui and Jentrix Shikangwa.

In another Group B encounter, the Kawempe Muslim Ladies defeated PVP Buyenzi 2-0.

The Ugandan side relied on the brilliance of Agnes Nabukenya, who scored both goals.

On Tuesday, Group A teams will return to action at the Abebe Bikila Stadium in Addis Ababa.

The hosts, Commercial Bank of Ethiopia, will face Yei Joint FC, while Kenya Police Bullet will go head-to-head with Rayon Sports.
