CAF Women's Champions League | UNIFFAC: Mazembe and Lekié record dominant victories

The opening matches of the UNIFFAC qualifiers for the CAF Women's Champions League kicked off with emphatic victories for TP Mazembe of the Democratic Republic of Congo and Lekié Football of Cameroon.
Both teams overwhelmed their opponents, with Mazembe defeating CSM Diables Noirs 7-0 and Lekié Football cruising to a 5-0 win over Atlético de Malabo on Monday, 19 August, at the Stade des Martyrs in Kinshasa.
Mazembe took control of their match from the start, but it wasn't until after the half-hour mark that they broke through the Diables Noirs defense.
Congolese striker Merveille Kanjinga was the star of the show, netting a hat-trick with goals in the 32nd, 37th, and 45th minutes.
Esther Dikisha added a brace (55th and 65th minutes), while captain Belange Vukulu (45+1') and Telma Bafour (72nd minute) completed the rout.
In the second game, Lekié Football from Cameroon claimed a commanding 5-0 victory over Atlético Feminino de Malabo.
The goals came from Ernestine Heutcho (17th minute), Fraîche Tiwa, who scored twice (27th and 87th minutes), Adrienne Mekuki (45th minute), and Ladifatou Adidja (81st minute).
