COSAFA Women’s Champions League: Gaborone United and Young Buffaloes advance to semi-finals

The COSAFA tournament for the CAF Women’s Champions League has now unveiled its four semi-finalists.
Gaborone United and the Young Buffaloes have joined Herentals Queens and the University of Western Cape in the final four of the competition.
Botswana’s Gaborone United secured the top spot in their group with 5 points, earning them a place in the semi-finals where they will face Herentals Queens on Tuesday at the Mpira Stadium.
Despite trailing 2-0 against Ascent Soccer Academy, Gaborone United staged a remarkable comeback to win 3-2, with goals from Dithebe, Maponga, and Moloi.
Meanwhile, the Young Buffaloes, who finished fourth and last in their group with just one point, pulled off a stunning 4-0 victory against group leaders União Desportiva de Lichinga Desportiva.
Eswatini’s Siphilisiwe Ndlovu was the star of the match, scoring a hat-trick to secure the win.
