Malabo hosts UNIFFAC CAF Women’s Champions League Qualifier tournament

Following in the footsteps of UNAF and UFOA zones A and B, it is now the turn of UNIFFAC, the Union of Central African Football Associations to conduct the CAF Women’s Champions League qualifiers. 

The much anticipated third edition of the CAF Women’s Champions League takes place in Cote d’Ivoire between 5 and 19 November this year. 

The UNIFFAC’s edition of qualifiers will take place in Malabo, the capital of Equatorial Guinea between 8 and 14 September with four teams contesting for a place in Cote d’Ivoire.

Tout Puissant Mazembe (DR Congo) who are the current holders along with Huracanes (Equatorial Guinea), AS Epah Ngamba (Congo) and AS Awa (Cameroon) will be the four sides batting it out for the UNIFFAC title. 

The tournament will take the form of a mini-championship with 3 points for a win, a point for a draw and zero points for a defeat. 

The side finishing with the most points will get automatic qualification to the CAF Women’s Champions League, Cote d’ivoire 2023.
