Published:

Home side FC Masar of Egypt and FC 15 de Agosto from Equatorial Guinea will meet at 15h00 local time (13h00 GMT) on Tuesday in their second Group A match at the CAF Women’s Champions League 2025.

This will be only the second time teams from Egypt and Equatorial Guinea have met at the finals.

The first meeting came in 2021, when hosts Wadi Degla lost 3–0 to Malabo Kings in their second Group A game, played on 5 November 2021 at the 30 June Stadium in Cairo.

Malabo Kings’ win remains the biggest by a team from Equatorial Guinea at the finals.

Egyptian sides have yet to win against Central African opposition, losing both prior meetings. Wadi Degla fell to Malabo Kings (2021) and TP Mazembe (1–0, 2022).

FC Masar, playing their seventh match in the competition, will face their fifth different opponent.

This is the second time a club from Equatorial Guinea will face the tournament’s host club. Malabo Kings won the previous such meeting against Wadi Degla in 2021.
