TotalEnergies Women’s Champions League: Global TV stations and online platforms to show inaugural tournament around the world

In a few hours, the historic TotalEnergies Women’s Champions League – the first on African soil – will kick-off in Cairo, Egypt with the opening match scheduled at 16h00 local time (14h00 GMT).
While all the action will be in Cairo, the rest of Africa and the international community will be able to follow all the action live from the competition in a number of platform. For the first time, matches will also be live on CAF website page: CAFONLINE.COM.
A number of international broadcasters have also acquired the rights for the competition. They include:
CAF General Secretary, Veron Mosengo-Omba said: “it is important that this product we are trying to build is visible in Africa and beyond.. We are delighted to see that a number of top international broadcasters will be showing matches live. This is a positive message and a motivation to the players who will be participating in the competition. The advancement of women’s football in Africa is a priority for the CAF President Dr Patrice Motsepe and the CAF Executive Committee, we have to ensure that the content is readily available to the consumers and football fans. The highly quality TV product will ensure that we do not lower the standards but instead advance Africa’s cause to future sponsors who will partner with us in the future.”
