TP Mazembe close in on CAF Women's Champions League qualification

DR Congo women side TP Mazembe, is on track to qualify for the CAF Women's Champions League after a convincing 4-0 victory over Equatorial Guinea's Atlético de Malabo.
This win propels TP Mazembe to the top of the standings in the UNIFFAC-organized tournament.
Under the guidance of coach Lamia Bouhmedi and cheered on by their passionate fans, the Congolese players dominated from the start.
Thelma Baffour opened the scoring in the 21st minute, skillfully beating the Atlético de Malabo goalkeeper. Just four minutes later, Esther Diskisha added another goal to double their lead.
After the halftime break, TP Mazembe continued their relentless pace. Laogoli Kreto, left unmarked by the Malabo defense, capitalized on the opportunity in the 45th minute, further extending her team's lead.
