HEAD OF GUEST & TRAVEL OPERATIONS

Responsibilities:
Guest Management & Protocol:
- Lead the Guest Management & Protocol team and set clear operating routines for day-to-day delivery.
- Own VIP management across locations (airports, hotels, venues, corporate events, official functions), ensuring smooth movements and professional service standards.
- Coordinate VIP programs and corporate events operationally, including schedules, run-of-show execution, on-site staffing, and real-time troubleshooting.
- Maintain high-quality coordination with internal stakeholders and external service providers to ensure consistent VIP experience.
- Act as the escalation point for VIP issues and last-minute changes, resolving quickly and keeping leadership informed.
Travel Operations:
- Lead the Travel team responsible for coordinating travel plans and movements for VIPs, Staff, Match Officials, Delegations and other event stakeholders as assigned.
- Build and manage operational travel plans including arrivals, departures, and daily movement schedules aligned with the competition and events calendar.
- Ensuring with the relevant CAF Departments that capacity planning is accurate and delivery remains reliable during peak periods.
Requirements (Profile):
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, management or equivalent.
- Proven experience leading operational teams in event operations, guest services, travel operations, or tournament delivery
- Strong ability to manage complex, high-volume stakeholder movements across multiple locations.
- Strong vendor coordination and stakeholder management skills.
- Clear communicator who can run tight operations and keep teams aligned.
- Fluency in French and English is a must. Arabic or Portuguese is an advantage.
- Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office (Outlook essential; Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams).
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Proactive, accountable, and committed to high levels of integrity.
- Team-oriented, adaptable, flexible, patient, and resilient.
- Willingness and availability to travel as required.
