You believe you have the educational background and professional experience to elevate the organization to the highest international standards? CAF is looking to recruit a Legal Operations – Project Manager.

Responsibilities:

Provide executive capability for the Legal Affairs & Compliance Division by translating the Director’s vision into structured execution, ensuring operational discipline, and delivering reliable reporting and analytics. The role adopts the central hub / oversight logic used in other senior executive offices to drive prioritisation, coordination, and measurable delivery across the Division.

1)   Strategy implementation & delivery management

·      Convert strategic priorities into clear work plans, milestones, owners, and timelines; drive follow-up and closure.

·      Maintain a portfolio view of divisional initiatives; surface risks/issues early and propose options to resolve them.

·      Establish and enforce disciplined operating routines (cadence, governance, templates, trackers).

2)   Operational oversight & coordination

·      Ensure the Division runs effectively day-to-day by coordinating across teams, streamlining internal workflows, and enforcing execution discipline.

·      Own action logs, decision records, and follow-ups; ensure accountability and timely delivery.

3)   Budget support, cost discipline & spend visibility (coordination role)

·      Maintain a division budget tracker (forecast vs actual, variances, narrative) and provide concise periodic updates to the Director.

·      Drive cost discipline through spend visibility and targeted initiatives (demand management, vendor rationalisation proposals, efficiency measures) in coordination with Finance/Procurement.

·      Track external counsel and vendor spend and provide data to support prioritisation decisions.

4)   Invoicing follow-up (without process ownership)

·      Coordinate procurement requests end-to-end from the Division side: requirements drafting, timelines, approvals tracking, and follow-up with Procurement.

·      Coordinate invoice follow-up and payment progression with Finance; maintain an ageing view and remove bottlenecks.

·      Maintain vendor and engagement trackers (scope, status, spend, renewal dates).

5)   Dashboards, analytics & performance reporting

·      Build and maintain dashboards and KPIs (workload, cycle time, outcomes/success-rate analysis, service levels, cost-to-deliver).

·      Produce executive-ready performance packs and ensure consistent reporting that supports decision-making.

6)   Executive support, meeting management & communication packs

·      Run the Division’s operational rhythm: meeting agendas, minutes, action lists, and follow-ups.

·      Prepare briefings, presentations, and decision notes for the Director.

·      Maintain the Division calendar of key deadlines and deliverables.

7)   Tools, data and technology enablement

·      Maintain the Division’s operational toolset (SharePoint/Teams structure, trackers, templates, naming conventions).

·      Automate and simplify reporting and internal workflows where feasible (Excel/Power BI/Power Automate; basic scripting desirable).

·      Ensure data quality and consistency across all trackers and reporting.

Requirements (profile):

·      Bachelor of Laws

·      Additional studies in sports law is an advantage.

·      5–8+ years’ experience in Big 4 / management consulting or an equivalent high-performance operational programme environment.

·      Demonstrated ability to drive delivery across multiple workstreams and stakeholders in a complex organisation.

·      Highly analytical and structured; turns ambiguity into priorities, plans, and measurable outputs.

·      Strong executive communication and synthesis; produces crisp, decision-ready materials.

·      High accountability, discretion, and resilience; operates comfortably in fast-moving, high-volume environments.

·      Advanced Excel and PowerPoint; Power BI preferred; strong data and systems orientation.
