The second edition of the CAF Football Management Executive Programme continued on Monday, 13 October, bringing together senior football management executives from across the continent.

Held in partnership with the University of Cape Town, the CAF Football Management Executive Programme is aimed at enhancing the leadership, management, and operational capacity of football administrators across the continent.

The online portion of the 2025 edition began on Monday with the Football Financial Management and Strategic Football Finance module where participants are gaining critical insights into financial governance, budgeting, and resource allocation.

On Wednesday 15 October, the programme will then move to its next module - Negotiation and Conflict Management in Football, which is designed to enhance participants’ abilities to manage disputes, facilitate productive dialogue, and make informed decisions in complex football environments.

Executives will also engage in Communication and Media Relations on Thursday 16 October, equipping them with the tools to manage public relations, communicate effectively with stakeholders, and navigate the modern football media landscape with confidence and professionalism.

The online portion of the programme concludes with a two-day module on Leadership and Organizational Culture, scheduled for 23 - 24 October.

This module will specifically focus on developing leadership styles, fostering a positive organizational culture and building high-performing management teams within Member Associations.

By providing structured, targeted training for executives, CAF ensures that African football continues to grow with competent, well-trained leaders at the helm.

Through this programme, CAF continues to nurture the next generation of football executives, fostering a culture of excellence that will benefit Member Associations, players, and the broader football community across Africa.
