CAF President Dr Motsepe conveys condolences to the family of Moroccan legend, Hassan Akesbi

The Confédération Africaine de Football (“CAF”) President Dr Patrice Motsepe is deeply saddened by passing of Moroccan football legend,  Hassan Akesbi.

Akesbi, who passed away at the age of 89 on Saturday, 9 November 2024, played for a number of Clubs including FUS de Rabat, AS Monaco, Stade de Reims and the National team, Atlas Lions.  

The CAF President Dr Motsepe conveys his and CAF’s deepest condolences to the family of Mr Hassan Akesb, Fédération Royale Marocaine de Football (“FRMF”) President Mr Fouzi Lekjaa and the Moroccan Football Family.

May the soul of Hassan Akesbi rest in eternal peace.
