CAF President Dr Motsepe conveys condolences to the family of the late Louis Camara

The Confédération Africaine de Football (“CAF”) President Dr Patrice Motsepe is deeply saddened by the passing of Senegal football icon Louis Camara.
Regarded as one of the pioneers of football in Senegal, Camara will forever be remembered as the first player to score for his country at the 1965 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) in Tunisia during a match against Ethiopia.
In addition to his achievements with the national team, he also made a significant impact at the club level, particularly with ASC Jaraaf in Senegal and Nîmes Olympique in France.
Camara passed away at the age of 78 on Thursday.
The CAF President Dr Motsepe conveys his and CAF’s deepest condolences to the family of Louis Camara, Fédération Sénégalaise de Football and Senegal Football family.
