CAF to host CAF IMPACT Strategic Roundtable Workshop in Kampala, Uganda

The Confédération Africaine de Football (CAF) will host the inaugural CAF IMPACT Programme Strategic Roundtable Workshop from 24 to 29 August 2025 on the sidelines of the TotalEnergies CAF African Nations Championship (CHAN) PAMOJA 2024 in Kampala, Uganda and Nairobi, Kenya.
The CAF IMPACT Programme is a flagship CAF initiative aimed at enhancing transparency and accountability in the use of CAF development funds, supporting Member Associations, and ensuring the sustainable growth and global competitiveness of African football.
For the first time, CAF will bring together all 54 Presidents of Member Associations alongside their General Secretaries to a practical workshop aimed at strengthening financial governance, promoting youth competitions and driving impactful community outreach initiatives.
The CAF IMPACT sessions, organised across three groups, will provide hands-on guidance on programme objectives, the rights and duties of Member Associations, financial contributions and reporting, as well as safeguards to prevent misuse of CAF IMPACT funds.
Sarah Mukuna, CAF Director of Member Associations, said: “This CAF IMPACT workshop is the first of its kind, bringing Presidents and their administrative teams together to work practically on strengthening governance and impact. It reflects CAF’s commitment to equipping our leaders with the tools to make African football globally competitive and self-sustaining.”
The CAF IMPACT Strategic Roundtable Workshop will reinforce collaboration across CAF’s 54 Member Associations, strengthen financial governance, and highlight a shared commitment to advancing African football on the global stage.
