Second Edition of the CAF Football Executive Management Programme currently underway at the University of Cape Town

The Second Edition of the CAF Football Executive Management Programme, a partnership between the Confédération Africaine de Football (CAF) and the University of Cape Town (UCT), is set to conclude in Cape Town this week.

The CAF Football Executive Management Programme is another major step in CAF and CAF President Dr Patrice Motsepe’s commitment to strengthening Football Governance and sound administration in Africa. The graduation ceremony will be held on Friday, 30 January 2026.

Building on the success of its inaugural edition, the programme once again brings together senior football administrators spread across the continent for an intensive and transformative learning experience – forming a central pillar of CAF’s strategic vision to collaborate with leading institutions of higher learning to empower Member Associations through improved governance, leadership and effective management.

Over the course of the programme, participants will continue engaging in high-level training designed to equip them with the skills required to meet the growing demands of modern football administration.

A standout feature of this edition is the calibre of its faculty and guest speakers.

CAF has assembled a distinguished group of highly experienced and seasoned industry professionals who bring extensive global and continental expertise. Their involvement underscores the programme’s standing as one of the most prestigious executive football education initiatives in Africa.

CAF Football Executive Management Programme Speakers:

  • Jessica Motaung: Deputy Chairperson of the African Club Association (ACA), who will share insights on commercial strategy in football.
  • Robyn Cox: Managing Director of IMG South Africa, who will lead sessions on football marketing and sponsorship.
  • Natasha Petersen: Who will address operations and change management in modern sporting organisations.
  • Natasha Bredekamp:  Football Foundation of South Africa (FFSA), who will focus on sustainable development and the use of sport as a vehicle for social change.
  • Verity Price:  Award-winning keynote speaker and presentation coach, who will guide participants on leadership communication and presentation skills.

The speakers’ combined experience is expected to provide participants with practical and real-world perspectives that bridge theory and application.
