African teams' fixtures confirmed for FIFA Club World Cup 2025

The FIFA Club World Cup 2025 fixtures for the four African representatives—Al Ahly (Egypt), Espérance Sportive de Tunis (Tunisia), Mamelodi Sundowns (South Africa), and Wydad AC (Morocco)— were unveiled on Saturday, setting the stage for thrilling encounters as they aim to make history on the global stage.
The expanded tournament features 32 teams and runs from 15 June to 13 July in the USA.
Al Ahly (Group A)
Record CAF Champions League winners Al Ahly will begin their campaign against tournament hosts Inter Miami CF on 15 June at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami.
The Egyptian giants will then face FC Porto on 19 June at AT&T Stadium in Dallas before concluding their group stage against SE Palmeiras on 23 June at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta.
Espérance Sportive de Tunis (Group D)
Espérance have been handed a daunting schedule in Group D, starting against CR Flamengo on 17 June at the Rose Bowl in Los Angeles.
They will then take on Club León on 21 June at NRG Stadium in Houston and finish the group stage against English powerhouse Chelsea on 25 June at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara.
Mamelodi Sundowns (Group F)
South African champions Mamelodi Sundowns open their Group F campaign against Ulsan HD on 18 June at Audi Field in Washington, D.C.
Their second match pits them against Fluminense on 22 June at TQL Stadium in Cincinnati, followed by a showdown with German giants Borussia Dortmund on 26 June at MetLife Stadium in New York.
Wydad AC (Group G)
Wydad AC, the reigning African champions, will have their first test against Manchester City on 16 June at GEODIS Park in Nashville.
They will then face Al Ain on 20 June at Bank of America Stadium in Charlotte, wrapping up their group stage against Juventus on 24 June at Lumen Field in Seattle.
Road to the Knockouts
The top two teams from each group will progress to the knockout stages, with the final scheduled for 13 July at MetLife Stadium in New York.
The fixtures highlight the challenges ahead for Africa’s finest as they aim to make an impact on the global stage.
