CAF Beach Soccer World Cup Qualifiers begin in Morocco

The Confederation of African Football Beach Soccer qualifiers to find two representatives for the FIFA Beach Soccer World Cup which will be held in Tahiti from 18 to 28 September 2013, gets underway in Morocco this week. The 8 team tournament will kick off from Wednesday 22nd May with group games and finish on 26th May with final and third place matches. The draw conducted on 21st May produced the following groups:Group A Group B A1 – Morocco B1 – Nigeria A2 - Senegal B2 – Cote d’Ivoire A3 – Madagascar B3 - Egypt A4 – Ghana B4 - LibyaCAF is represented at the tournament in Morocco by the Chairman of the Futsal and Beach Soccer Committee. The winner of the competition and the losing finalist will qualify to the FIFA Beach Soccer World Cup which will be held in Tahiti from 18 to 28 September 2013.
