CAF Media Statement on Fédération Sénégalaise de Football Matter

The Confédération Africaine de Football is committed to the principles of fairness, transparency and strict adherence to CAF Regulations.

Throughout the TotalEnergies CAF Africa Cup of Nations Morocco 2025, CAF, working together with the Local Organising Committee has ensured that all Teams are subjected to the same conditions.  

CAF has noted statements attributed to Fédération Sénégalaise de Football (FSF) in relation to their logistics ahead of the Final of the TotalEnergies CAF Africa Cup of Nations Morocco 2025.

Fédération Sénégalaise de Football was given an opportunity to select a hotel for its Team ahead of the Final and this was granted. 

When Senegal raised dissatisfaction in relation to the training facility, CAF immediately contacted the LOC to accommodate Senegal’s request of an alternative training field. This has been resolved.  

In line with Regulations, Fédération Sénégalaise de Football were given their quota of tickets for the Final.  

Fédération Sénégalaise de Football President  Abdoulaye Fall and the Leadership of CAF and the Local Organising Committee have been in regular contact. 

CAF wishes both Teams the best of luck ahead of the Final that will be watched in 180 territories globally.
