CAF President Dr. Motsepe to meet Tanzania Football Federation’s president and Prime Minister in Dodoma

The President of the Confederation of African Football (CAF), Dr. Patrice Motsepe will arrive in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania on Friday, 13 August 2021.

During his short visit, Dr. Motsepe will meet Tanzania's Prime Minister, Kassim Majaliwa in the national capital Dodoma.

The CAF President will thereafter attend the Extraordinary General Assembly of the Council of East and Central Africa Football Associations (CECAFA) where he will speak to the Presidents and General Secretaries from the different Members Associations from the Zone.

The CAF President is expected together with Tanzania’s Prime Minister to talk about football in Tanzania, in the CECAFA region and African as a continent.

They will also discuss the CAF Pan African Schools Football Championship which is yet to be launched in the region. Dr. Motsepe announced the interschool competition project in Africa in April this year in Kinshasa, Democratic Republic of Congo.

CAF Secretary General Véron Mosengo-Omba, who is already in Tanzania and watched one of the semi- final matches at the on-going CECAFA Kagame Cup, will also be in attendance.
