MC Alger holds the record for the most Algerian Super Cup titles, with three trophies, while CR Belouizdad follows closely with two titles, alongside USM Alger and ES Sétif.

CR Belouizdad currently sits second in the Algerian Ligue 1 standings with 26 points, just two points behind MC Alger. This adds extra intensity to the clash, as the two teams are also neck-and-neck in the title race.

CR Belouizdad’s new head coach, Siad Ramović, who led his first training session on February 6, will be eager to make an immediate impact. The German-born coach hopes to guide his new team to silverware in his first major game while also seeking revenge against MC Alger.
