FIFA Rankings: Equatorial Guinea, Angola, and DR Congo Rise

Published:

During this period marked by continental competitions such as UEFA EURO and Copa América, African teams that have not been active have generally dropped in the rankings.

Despite Morocco, the proud leader of African football, experiencing a slight dip, they continue to shine brightly,  holding their own against esteemed competitors. Although they have slipped from 12th to 14th in the world, the Atlas Lions remain a formidable force in international football.

Similarly, the Lions of Teranga, Senegal, their illustrious rivals, have slipped to 19th position on the standings.

The spotlight this quarter is on the extraordinary achievements of Equatorial Guinea, Angola, and the Democratic Republic of Congo!

Equatorial Guinea has surged forward with a commendable rise of two places, while both Angola and the Democratic Republic of Congo have continued their impressive ascent by climbing one spot in the global rankings.

Their progress underscores the vibrant and competitive spirit of African football, demonstrating the continent's continued upward surge and emerging dominance on the world stage.
