Ghana and Tanzania brace for showdown as Uganda faces determined Ethiopia

Ghana's coach Yussif Basigi has expressed confidence ahead of the match against Tanzania on Tuesday in the women's football competition at the 13th African Games.
The two sides clash in Group A of the competition being played the Cape Coast Sports Stadium with the host nation seeking a win that will steer them to the semi-finals of the competition.
Ghana's coach Basigi, is certain his side can get the victory in the match against Tanzania, stating, "This time we will be better than our first game... We know what it takes to play a physical side."
Striker Mukarama Abdulai also stated her confidence, emphasizing the team's readiness to rectify past mistakes and secure a victory.
"Our first game didn't go as we planned... but we have worked on our faults... and we will surely win tomorrow's game," she affirms.
Tanzanian side coach Bakari Shime acknowledges Ghana's formidable reputation but expresses his team's readiness for the challenge.
"We believe Ghana is a big team... but Tanzania is now coming up, so we are anticipating a tough game," he asserts.
Star player Irene Kisisa echoes Shime's sentiments, highlighting their preparation and determination to secure a win for their country.
Meanwhile, Uganda's coach, Sheryl Botes, reflects on their previous match against Tanzania, emphasizing the lessons learned and the team's readiness for the upcoming encounter with Ethiopia.
"We thought we had secured all points... but it's football, and we have learnt our lessons... such a strong competition is better for the girls to learn mentality," she states.
Player Phionah Nabulime expresses the team's disappointment with their previous result but affirms their determination to bounce back stronger.
Ethiopia's coach, Yosef Dhadhi, remains optimistic despite their loss to Ghana, expressing confidence in their preparation for the match against Uganda.
"We have prepared for Uganda very well... We don't know much about them, but with my experience... we need to be 100 percent to win this game," she asserts.
Player Nardos Getinet echoes Dhadhi's sentiments, emphasizing their determination to extend their stay in the tournament.
