Mali reveal FIFA U-17 World Cup bound squad

Published:

After securing a fourth place finish at the TotalEnergies CAF U-17 Africa Cup of Nations, Mali officially join champions Senegal, Morocco and Burkina Faso in the FIFA U-17 World Cup Indonesia 2023™ next month.

The squad set to represent the West African side was officially announced, with a bulk of the players that were present in Algeria retaining their place.

Mali have been drawn in Group B where they will face Canada, Spain and Uzbekistan, as they look to emulate and possibly go even further than the 2015 generation that finished with an impressive silver-medal after Nigeria.
