Song, Katongo announced as Draw Assistants for TotalEnergies CAF Champions League and Confederation Cup Group Stage Draw on Monday
Former Cameroon international Alexandre Song and Zambian legend Christopher Katongo are scheduled to be the Draw Assistants for the TotalEnergies CAF Champions League and Confederation Cup Draw Group Stage Draw on Monday, 03 November.
The Group Stage Draw for the TotalEnergies CAF Champions League and CAF Confederation Cup will be conducted live at SuperSport studios in Johannesburg, from 13h00 Local Time (11h00 GMT).
The draw, involving 16 Clubs in both Competitions will determine the Group Stage pairings of Africa’s most prestigious club football competitions.
Song, a former midfielder who represented the Indomitable Lions in multiple TotalEnergies CAF Africa Cup of Nations finals and the FIFA World Cup, also had a distinguished club career where he flew the African flag in Europe.
Katongo, Zambia’s TotalEnergies CAF AFCON 2012 winning captain, remains one of Africa’s most revered players, known for his leadership and clinical finishing during a glittering career that spanned several countries, including South Africa, Denmark, and China.
