UNAF U-20 – Morocco qualifies to Mauritania 2021

Morocco U-20 qualified to the Total U-20 Africa Cup of Nations, Mauritania 2021 after playing to a 1-1 draw with Libya at Radis on Thursday, in Match Day 4 of the North African Union (UNAF) U-20 tournament ongoing in Tunisia.

Osama Tergalin put Morocco in the lead from the spot after 32 minutes, before Libya’s Mohamed Elkhali restored parity three minutes after the break.

Morocco raised their tally to five points, to guarantee one of the top two spots and qualify to the Mauritania 2021 finals. Libya are second on four points, two more than Tunisia, while Algeria finished their games with a lone point on fourth place.

Tunisia face Libya on Sunday 27 December at Radis in a game that decides the second team who qualifies to the U-20 AFCON. Libya needs just a draw to qualify, while only win can give Tunisia the second ticket to Mauritania.
