After seeing Morocco booking the first ticket for the Total U-20 Africa Cup of Nations, Mauritania 2021, hosts Tunisia secured the remaining North African Zone (UNAF) qualifiers’ ticket, after beating Libya 1-0 in Rades, at the final Match day of the tournament on Sunday.

The Junior Carthage Eagles needed maximum points to qualify, while all the Libyans needed was a draw to book their spot.

Chiheb Laabidi scored Tunisia’s winning goal for Tunisia with five minutes left on the clock. Despite the four added minutes, Libya’s youngsters failed to equalize, and the full-time whistle sent the Eagles flying away to Mauritania 2021.
