WATCH LIVE: 2028 Los Angeles Olympic Games Women's Football Tournament Africa qualifiers Draw

The draw for the African qualification phase of the 2028 Los Angeles Olympic Games Women's Football Tournament will be held on Wednesday, 29 April 2026 at the headquarters of the Confederation of African Football (CAF) in Cairo, Egypt from 15h00 local time (12h00 GMT).

The ceremony will be broadcast live on CAF TV and will be attended by several leading figures in African women's football, including Brenda Ebika Tabe (Cameroon / Al Ahly), Hasnath Ubamba (Tanzania / FC Masar) and Mia Darden (United States / Al Ahly), who will serve as assistants for the draw.

The qualification competition will feature 35 teams. Two nations will represent Africa at the Los Angeles Olympic Games Women's Football Tournament, scheduled for 11-29 July 2028.
