A star-studded line up including music sensation Eddy Kenzo, Zuchu and Kenya’s Savara are some of the names that have been scheduled to perform at the closing ceremony of the TotalEnergies CAF African Nations Championship (CHAN) PAMOJA 2024 on Saturday, 30 August in Kasarani.

The Closing Ceremony will start at 14h00 local time (12h00 Morocco time / 11h00 GMT) live on selected CAF broadcaster Partners including KBC in Kenya, SuperSport, Canal+, beIN Sport, New World TV and CAF’s YouTube page, CAF TV.

It will be followed by the Final between Morocco and Madagascar at 18h00 local time (16h00 Morocco time / 15h00 GMT).

The Final in Nairobi promises a fascinating contrast: Morocco chasing a record third title and Madagascar aiming to complete a fairytale run by lifting their maiden continental trophy.

The Closing Ceremony is the celebration of the cultures of the three Host Nations; Kenya, Tanzania and Uganda.

The performances are set to capture the vibrant culture and energy of the host region as the curtain falls on this historic tournament co-hosted by Kenya, Uganda, and Tanzania.

TotalEnergies CHAN, PAMOJA 2024 Closing Ceremony Performers

Eddy Kenzo – The Ugandan superstar, known globally for his hit Sitya Loss and for being the first East African artist nominated for a Grammy Award, will bring his high-energy Afrobeat and dancehall-inspired performance to the stage.

Zuchu – One of Tanzania’s fastest-rising stars, the Zanzibar-born singer-songwriter and daughter of taarab legend Khadija Kopa, has become a household name across Africa thanks to her success in the bongo flava and Afro-pop scene.

Savara – Representing the Host Nation Kenya, Savara Mudigi is a founding member of the globally renowned group Sauti Sol. Now also successful as a solo artist, he is expected to deliver a powerful performance that will showcase Kenyan musical pride on the continental stage.

By featuring artists from all three co-host nations, the Closing Ceremony will highlight the spirit of collaboration in what promises to be a fitting climax to TotalEnergies CHAN PAMOJA 2024.
