Zambia and Angola meet for the first time at the TotalEnergies African Nations Championship in this must-win clash at the Moi International Sports Centre in Nairobi on Sunday.

This is Zambia’s fourth game against fellow COSAFA opposition, having remained unbeaten in their previous three (one win, two draws). Their past results in such matchups include a 1-0 win over Zimbabwe in 2016 and draws of 1-1 and 0-0 against Namibia in the 2018 and 2020 editions, all in the group stage.

Angola are facing COSAFA opposition for the first time at CHAN. For Zambia, Angola become the 13th different team they have faced in the tournament, while for Angola, Zambia are also their 13th different opponent.
