CAF Referees’ Open Day for media representatives in Douala

Media representatives accredited for the Total African Nations Championship (CHAN) Cameroon 2020, are invited to an Open Day with Referees and Assistant Referees on Monday, 01 February 2021 at the Japoma Stadium Annex, Douala.
From 09H00, approved media representatives will have the opportunity to attend, take photographs and film the training session of the match officials as they prepare for the final stages of the competition.
There will also be interview sessions with CAF Refereeing Director, Eddy Maillet, highlighting key points such as Video Assistant Referees (VAR), Educational Programmes for Referees, Professionalism of Match Officials as well as an overview of the performance during the sixth edition of the competition designed exclusively for footballers playing in their domestic leagues.
Interviews with CAF Instructors and selected Referees will also be arranged for the media.
